Job Description
Provide day-to-day support on products being built in the manufacturing assembly area(s), identify process and assembly improvements, and work with a senior engineer to implement improvement ideas into the manufacturing area using lean manufacturing principles.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- An understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient in the use of personal computers, internet and Microsoft Office suite of software
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret standards, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to train and motivate employees at all levels
- Ability to make sound decisions within established guidelines
- Ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload based upon organization or department needs
- Be detail-oriented and have excellent follow-through skills
- Must possess high degree of professionalism
