This is an opportunity for a Co-Op Student to learn and experience multiple facets of Legrand AV operations through hands-on standard work and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
- Conduct analysis of transactional times and propose improvements for the flow of inbound/outbound Materials
- Learn Lean practices and apply them to operational and material flows
- Implement a project using the 8 step problem solving methodology
- Work with assembly leads and Manufacturing Engineers to redesign assembly work cells
- Trouble shoot issues from daily builds and redesign to have a more efficient process of building finished goods
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information and protect the assets of the organization
- Understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace
