Job Description
Milestone is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their VSaaS engineering team. This role involves architecting, designing, and building scalable distributed data systems for cloud-based video surveillance and IoT control systems. The ideal candidate will drive engineering decisions and mentor other engineers to build modern, scalable applications.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of experience programming in Go, C++, or equivalent
- Advanced experience with FFMPEG
- Experience with media codecs and protocols
- Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and Git-based workflows
- Clear communication skills
- Comfortable with topics spanning programming languages, AI/ML, and networking.
