External Affairs Mgr - BGE - Baltimore, MD

We are seeking an External Affairs Manager for our BGE division in Baltimore, MD. This role involves developing and enhancing relationships with governmental officials, resolving emergent issues, and optimizing the corporate image. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or Public/Governmental relations, with 7-10 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Public/Governmental relations
• 7 - 10 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years' experience in customer service public policy-related areas
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including negotiation and facilitative skills
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant computer systems and ability to display applicable level of computer literacy
• Self-motivated with ability to demonstrate independent decision-making

• Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $118,400.00/Yr. – $162,800.00/Yr.
