Laboratory Technician Intern - Pittsburgh, PA

KTA is a consulting engineering firm seeking a Laboratory Technician Intern for the Summer of 2026. The intern will gain real-world experience in a variety of day-to-day analytical and physical testing laboratory responsibilities. The role involves sample preparation, bench, instrumental, and physical testing experiments, sample disposal, and other projects.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in material science, chemistry, engineering, or other related discipline
• Ability to work with strong odors and messy materials
• Ability to work as a team member as well as independently
• Interest in applied science
• Reliable transportation
• Technical writing experience - desired
