We are seeking an Electronic Controls Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties with minimal supervision, including creating/modifying PLC programs, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Collaborates with site production, maintenance, and engineering teams and/or OEM technical support to assist with troubleshooting and projects.
- Upgrades/configures PLC software/hardware including related basic electrical modifications.
- Develops/Modifies PLC programs on equipment used for manufacturing processes which includes the creation/modification of electrical and/or ladder logic drawings.
- Participates in equipment commissioning and start-up activities including the confirmation of safety system functionality, loop verification, and debugging.
- Ensures compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and MillerKnoll standards.
- Utilizes proper lockout/tagout and arc flash, procedures to maintain a safe environment while following EHS/regulatory procedures.
- Performs all their duties in an open and objective manner, utilizing a “best practice” mindset to drive continuous improvement in all job-related functions.
- Follows and promotes GMPs and other quality programs related to the manufacturing processes.
- Required to work other assigned shifts as to meet business needs.
- Performs other duties as required.
