Senior Cloud/Platform Engineer with Azure

We're looking for a Senior Cloud/Platform Engineer with Azure to join our team and contribute to building and evolving the software that empowers our developers to build and ship applications with speed and efficiency. You'll design, develop, and maintain software components for our internal developer platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, and developer experience, with a strong emphasis on integrating with Azure services.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of both infrastructure and software engineering principles, with a focus on cloud-native development and deployment methodologies.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, C#, JS).
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, with a focus on secure development practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues in cloud-based applications.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly, particularly in the rapidly evolving cloud landscape.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in working effectively with cross-functional teams in a cloud environment.
• Understanding of user experience (UX) and developer experience (DevX) principles, with a focus on designing and building user-friendly cloud-based tools and platforms.
• Experience with GitOps principles and tools, such as FluxCD or GitHub Actions, for managing and deploying cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles, with a focus on Azure deployments.
• Familiarity with Azure solution architecture and best practices, including knowledge of Azure services relevant to cloud software development.
