IT Consultant (Microsoft .NET Developer)

We are seeking a senior developer with full life cycle application development skills to lead efforts related to the development and support of Enterprise web sites and services. The ideal candidate will have experience with WCF, Web API, and Web services, as well as expertise in.Net framework 4.0 or 4.5.2 and MVC 5.0+.

Requirements

• Working with the project manager
• Tasking/estimating for stories and defects
• Participate in low-level design
• Respond to technical questions/issues related to the project
• Ensure technical excellence and skills of development staff through training, evaluation and continued development
• Enforce application standards, best practices and tool usage (as defined by the design team) within the development team
• Execution of development tasks/assignments
• Ensure completion of code reviews
• Participate in day to day low level design decisions on a project
• Work with the application design team on high-level design
• Agile Development experience using Rally or a similar project management software
• Expert level understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Ability to rapidly learn technical and business concepts
• Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and partners required
• Ability to present technical concepts to technical and business audiences
• Commitment to high quality work and timely deliverables
• Experience with Source Control (Subversion preferred)
