Job Description
Mindlance is seeking a Network Security Engineer to assist in the evaluation and deployment of advanced technologies to enhance or create new security capabilities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and envisions innovative solutions to provide efficient and enhanced security posture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands on experience with ACLs, Firewalls, and/or Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing security solutions in large environments
- Strong knowledge in Palo Alto Networks firewalling technology and centralized firewall management
- Strong knowledge and experience with Palo Alto and Checkpoint Firewalls
- Strong knowledge and experience with Layer 2-5 protocols and technologies
- Strong knowledge and experience with routing and security protocols, especially OSPF
- Strong knowledge and experience with ACLs, Firewalls, and Intrusion Prevention Systems
- Experience with application, server, and network monitoring solutions
- Ability to function effectively in a fast paced team environment to reach highly stringent deadlines
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience
