Freelance AI/ML Penetration Tester

Mindrift is seeking an AI/ML Penetration Tester to evaluate vulnerabilities and test safety risks in AI models, especially those focused on generative AI. This role involves creating automated tests, developing security research initiatives, and providing cybersecurity advice. The position is remote, with opportunities to collaborate on unique projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics or related field
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or above)
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with containerization, CI/CD security tools (Docker)
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing across web, API, network, and infrastructure
• Knowledge of AI models vulnerabilities, prompt injection, and LLMs
• Familiarity with AI/ML security frameworks
• Experience with AI/ML security and red-teaming
• Skill in reverse engineering and exploitation techniques
• Expertise in network and application security
• Knowledge of Linux privilege escalation and Windows internals
• Familiarity with secure coding practices
• Ability to learn quickly and switch tasks
