Freelance AI Red Team Engineer

Mindrift is seeking AI Red Team Engineers to help shape the future of AI by evaluating and securing generative AI models and agents. This freelance role involves collaborating on projects, creating test cases, and contributing to security research. The role offers a remote work opportunity within the USA.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1+).
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD security tools (Docker).
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing across web, API, network, and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of vulnerabilities in current AI models (prompt injections, LLMs).
• Familiarity with AI red-teaming frameworks.
• Proficiency in offensive exploitation and exploit development.
• Expertise in reverse engineering, network and application security, and secure coding.
• Ability to quickly learn new methods and switch tasks.
• Laptop, internet connection, and time availability.
