Advisor Board Appointments and Governance

MBIE is seeking an Advisor to support the future governance of Crown entities, Crown companies, and statutory boards. The role will involve providing advice on appointments and governance, building strong networks and trusted relationships, and contributing to initiatives to provide best practice governance support to boards.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience of board appointment processes and associated governance, or a background or interest in recruitment
• Ability to build, trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent written and presentation skills
• Knowledge and understanding of New Zealand public sector legal and governance frameworks for Crown entities, Crown companies, and statutory boards
• Proactive approach and a 'can do' attitude
• Legal right to live and work in New Zealand
