Job Description
Mirum Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Field Medical Manager (FMM) to act as a scientific expert within their Medical Affairs organization. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, contributing to regional medical strategy, and serving as a liaison between researchers and investigators. The position requires a strong understanding of scientific communication and a passion for advancing scientific discoveries in rare diseases.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in science or clinical (e.g., MD, Pharm.D., PhD)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor, or comparable role
- Previous experience in rare diseases and/or in hepatology or gastroenterology strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
- High level of business acumen and organizational skills
- Proven presentation skills across different audiences and settings
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn new systems
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 60%
