Job Description
Miso Robotics is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to expand their AI-powered kitchen robot, Flippy. The role involves coding, testing, debugging, and prototyping new features for the kitchen automation system and cloud infrastructure, working with robotics specialists and ensuring a smooth user experience. The company is a first-mover in the kitchen automation industry, with significant funding and ambition for scaling.
Requirements
- Code, debug, test and troubleshoot software throughout the development process.
- Develop sophisticated state machines that efficiently manage and optimize various cooking workflows.
- Engineer streamlined, user-friendly procedures for robotic system installations ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Design and implement robust monitoring solutions to continuously track and ensure the health of our robotic systems in various environments.
- Use best engineering judgment to iterate on code and refactoring repeatedly to improve our software generality and quality.
- Read our code and documentation to understand our existing architecture and practices.
- Adhere to and help improve our software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Take ownership when developing, maintaining, improving, testing and releasing software.
