Job Description
MCS is hiring for an Electrical Estimator in Tampa, FL. This is a full-time, On-Site, permanent position with benefits. The Electrical Estimator must demonstrate a strong ability to analyze project specifications and accurately estimate the costs associated with electrical components, labor, and materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical estimator
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proficiency in estimating software, Trimble experience is a PLUS
- Field experience in electrical construction is a plus
- Strong understanding of bid documents, prints, and specifications
- Strong material selection skills based on project requirements
- Demonstrated capacity to manage deadlines and work on multiple projects
- Proven experience in providing value engineering solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
