MCS is hiring for a Fire Alarm Technician in Tampa, FL. The Fire Alarm Technician will install, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, and require good communication skills and adaptability.
Requirements
- Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics, and operation manuals.
- Install, pull, terminate, test, and troubleshoot cables and vendor products.
- Configure, program, and commission new life safety systems.
- Document commissioning details and communicate project progress and deficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to NFPA, Local AHJ codes, corporate policies, and OSHA safety standards.
- Perform test and inspections of fire alarm and related systems.
- Set up and manage monitoring accounts for fire and security systems.
- Respond to service calls, including fire alarm systems, ERCES/BDA, card access, CCTV, intrusion, and nurse call systems.
