MMGY Global is seeking an Account Coordinator, PR in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, and loves to write. The role involves coordinating PR activities for global hotel & resort brands, cruise lines, trains, tour operators, and destinations around the world.
Requirements
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts) in communications, journalism, or related field
- One year of prior internship or job-related experience in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, or related fields (bonus)
- Travel industry experience or knowledge (bonus)
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong news writing and reporting proficiency
- Strong detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and juggle projects effectively
- Self-motivated and resourceful
- Ability to learn quickly
- Creative and high energy
- Sharp listening skills
- Results-oriented
- Effective judgment and ability to anticipate, spot, and fix problems
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Computer proficiency and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Cision, MuckRack, and other PR programs (bonus)
