Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for conducting health assessments, making diagnoses, and prescribing treatments within a designated health center. This role involves clinical oversight, health counseling, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care. The NP will also ensure administrative oversight of health policies and procedures, as well as manage work-related injuries and illnesses.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and NP in state of practice.
- Nationally Certified as FNP, ANP, or AGNP by AANP or ANCC.
- Valid NPI
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Current DEA license to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader.
- Current DOT medical examiner certification.
