Staff Software Engineer

We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and development of ModMed's Klara Team, a fast-growing shared platform. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading architectural and design efforts, setting technical vision, and driving high engineering standards within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or staff engineer role.
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET Core, ASP.NET, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server/PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud-native solutions, preferably on Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred.
• Proven success leading high-impact engineering initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in healthcare is a strong plus.
