Job Description
Monarch is seeking a Security Engineer with a focus on AI to join our Security Engineering team during a period of hyper-growth. You will support both core security operations and specialized AI security initiatives, including designing and implementing controls across AI/ML environments, strengthening our detection and response capabilities, and ensuring alignment with Monarch's AI security standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of application security, cloud security (AWS or GCP), and AI agent development
- Hands-on experience leading security investigations and incident response efforts in complex, cloud-based environments
- Advanced understanding of AI/ML security
- Familiarity with Risk Management frameworks and execution against SOC2, NIST 800-53, and ISO standards
