AML Official

Lead and oversee the client onboarding process, including due diligence, screening, and preparation of Customer Risk Assessments. Ensure ongoing monitoring and timely updates of client files, including Beneficial Ownership confirmations, in line with regulatory standards. Assist the MLRO in addressing urgent client queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses, particularly during the MLRO’s absence.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in AML/CFT or compliance within financial services in Malta.
• Good knowledge of Maltese AML/CFT regulations and regulatory expectations.
• Experience with KYC, Customer Risk Assessments, and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
• Familiarity with sanctions screening and ongoing monitoring processes.
• Experience assisting with regulatory reporting and internal investigations is an asset.
