Manager, Project Management

MongoDB is seeking a Manager, Project Management to lead the PMO team in EMEA and drive regional success while contributing to global PMO strategy development. The ideal candidate will have experience in program/portfolio management, people management, and strategic thinking.

Requirements

• At least 8+ years in program/portfolio management with 3+ years in people management and/or team leadership roles, ideally in technical or startup environments.
• Experience managing distributed teams across multiple regions/cultures preferred.
• Leadership & People Development: Experience building high-performing, collaborative teams and developing talent at various experience levels.
• Strategic Thinking & Execution: Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills with proven track record of building effective strategies and solutions in rapidly evolving environments.
• Communication & Influence: Outstanding communication skills with ability to influence leadership and senior stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Cultural Understanding: Understanding of EMEA business environments, including cultural nuances, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
• PMO Maturity: Proven experience implementing PMO frameworks, governance structures, and maturity models.
• Change Leadership: Experience leading organizational transformation and change management initiatives.
