Senior Solutions Architect

MongoDB is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join their Pre-Sales organization. The ideal candidate will have 8-11 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with 5-7 years of experience in pre-sales with enterprise software. The role will involve designing and architecting scalable and performant applications, guiding customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, and collaborating with the sales team to drive account success.

Requirements

• 8-11 years of related experience in a customer-facing role
• 5-7 years of experience in pre-sales with enterprise software
• Minimum of 3 years experience with modern scripting languages and/or popular programming languages
• Experience designing with scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem
• Demonstrated ability to work with customers to review complex architecture of existing applications
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to strategize with sales teams and provide recommendations on how to drive a multi-threaded account strategy
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
