The Actuarial Analyst II collaborates with team members to identify data driven opportunities to add value to existing and potential partners. The role involves applying fundamental actuarial principles in analyzing healthcare claims data, developing and maintaining projections models, and reconciling actuarial inputs and outputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field
- 3 actuarial exams completed
- 2-4 years healthcare experience
- Knowledge of healthcare and/or managed care industry
- Proficiency in MS Excel for building actuarial models
- Strong knowledge of database concepts, analysis development, data warehousing, and decision tools
- Strong familiarity with SQL
- Experience with Python or R
- Experience in Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare analysis
- Experience with CMS shared savings programs
