Montgomery College is seeking a part-time faculty member to teach Mechanical & Electrical Systems in the Construction Management program. The ideal candidate will have significant prior Construction Management experience, a high degree of professionalism, and the ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related discipline or related field
- Minimum of ten years of industry experience in construction management
- Knowledge of Mechanical Systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning principles
- Knowledge of Electrical Systems, including power distribution in buildings
- Familiarity with building codes and standards applicable to mechanical and electrical systems
- Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability standards
- Proficiency with a Learning Management System (LMS) and other web-based instructional technology
- Demonstrated experience teaching using a variety of delivery methods, online resources, and technology applications
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues using email
- Ability to participate in program-related events, including program meetings and meetings of the construction management industry advisory committee
