Associate Equity Research Analyst

The Research group at Morningstar is seeking an Associate Equity Research Analyst based in Singapore to assist senior analysts in covering companies in various industries and countries in the Asian region.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate well in English and Chinese (Mandarin) with strong English writing skills
• Minimum of bachelor's degree with a CFA designation considered favorably
• Experience as an associate analyst in the sell-side, buy-side or independent equity research fraternity is an advantage
• Ability to work well within a team and accept and provide constructive feedback
• Ability to make timely decisions under demanding deadlines
• Interest in developing financial modeling skills and knowledge of business valuation techniques
• Passion for looking at stocks from a long-term, valuation-based perspective
