UK Market Reporter

We are seeking an experienced financial journalist to cover UK stocks, bonds, and currency markets as a markets reporter on our London editorial team.

Requirements

• A passion for the markets
• 3+ years actively covering stocks or other markets as a journalist
• Proven ability to write on deadline and for same-day turnaround
• Demonstrated writing skills
• Strong news judgement for identifying subjects for articles and initiative in pitching stories to editors
• Curious, creative thinker with a collaborative approach to producing commentary and storytelling
• A collaborative mindset
• Demonstrated comfort with Excel and learning new databases and other tools
• Experience with on-camera work or podcasts is a plus
• Fluency in French, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, or Swedish is a plus
