Job Description
Morrison Child and Family Services is seeking a Bilingual Mental Health Clinician (Spanish) to provide individual and group counseling services, conduct mental status examinations, and offer crisis intervention to immigrant youth in Portland, Oregon. The role focuses on providing a trauma-informed environment and adheres to the Sanctuary model, aiming to promote safety, emotional resilience, and connection. The position is full-time with eligibility based on licensing.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work with clinical experience
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English, written, read and verbal
- Clearance of a language proficiency test for Spanish
- Supervision/guidance of children within the facility
- CPR and Standard First Aid certification
- Ability to work as a shift, be punctual, and adapt to an unpredictable environment
- HIPAA and U.S. Office of Personnel Management compliance
