Job Description
Morrison Child and Family Services is seeking a Milieu Counselor (Youth Care Worker) to join their team in Portland, Oregon. The Milieu Counselor will work with adolescent youth to create a secure and therapeutic environment, provide education services, and help with daily living skills. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of relevant experience, and basic computer skills. Bilingual Spanish abilities are highly preferred.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, databases, and Outlook
- At least one year of relevant experience working in child welfare
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass a criminal history background check and suitability determination investigation
- Proof of vaccination (MMR, Varicella, DTap & Influenza annually)
