Job Description
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Assistant MEP Project Manager to interact with various staff and adapt to a changing environment. The role involves overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes of work, leading a project team, managing subcontractors, and providing mentorship. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Requirements
- Perform cost control and financial management
- Coordinate scopes of work
- Review and compile pay applications, change requests, and other project financial documentation
- Draft client proposals
- Contract administration and management
- Award subcontracts
- Lead project buyout with subcontractors and trade partners
- Provide direction to the project team for safe and timely project completion
- Lead and direct 3D coordination
- Lead and direct commissioning
- Lead all activities required in the project closeout
- Perform on-site Project Manager duties on small scope projects
