Carpenter I

This Carpenter I position is responsible for the construction and repair of wood and wallboard fixtures in compliance with local building codes. The role emphasizes dependability, initiative, and a positive attitude, as well as teamwork, communication, and adherence to company values and procedures. It requires detail orientation, active listening, and the ability to work in varied conditions.

Requirements

• Set up trailers
• Study blueprints and sketches
• Hand-set forms and assemble gang forms
• Assist journeyman and foreman with grading and elevations
• Unload/handle/stockpile/erect materials
• Conduct concrete and rough carpentry
• Build and install walls
• Install finishes (doors, frames, etc.)
• Work with diverse backgrounds
• Active listening and effective communication
