Construction Project Manager I - Wind

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Manager I to lead projects with professionalism, flexibility, and resourcefulness in a dynamic environment. The role involves managing project quality, timeliness, and safety, mentoring the project team, and developing strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication skills. The position is remote and requires a candidate with a strong understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.

Requirements

• Manage overall financial health of projects
• Support and lead EPC contract negotiations, including technical exhibits and project schedules
• Lead vendor procurement and bid/award phase for major subs and suppliers
• Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections
• Allocate project estimate into financial system, determine cost codes, approve invoices
• Manage subcontracts and suppliers, oversee budget and selections of trade partners
• Handle billings, contract management, and change orders
• Manage and develop Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers
• Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
