Job Description
This is an outside sales position for a loan officer focused on growth within the local mortgage lending business. The role involves prospecting for homebuyers, analyzing financial situations, and providing documentation to processing departments to expedite loan closings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate tenacity, persistence, and a commitment to integrity.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: High School or Equivalent
- Minimum Knowledge: Ability to analyze complex financial situations and determine best case solutions
- Ability to prospect local markets and solicit new business
- Hands on experience with Conventional, Government, and Alt-A lending
- Demonstrated communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum of 1 year current loan origination experience
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to travel, navigate, and stand for extended periods.
