Requirements
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the Morton Salt facility in Long Beach, California.
- Plan, direct, and control all aspects of the manufacturing process.
- Ensure products are produced and shipped on time to meet customer demand.
- Manage facility budget / cost, volume and quality.
- Ensure Environmental, Health and Safety performance and compliance.
- Manage equipment and process reliability.
- Manage production, maintenance and engineering coordination.
- Manage special project assignments.
- Manage the capital budget and portfolio management.
- Facilitate interactions between organizations.
- Manage and direct the strategic engineering initiatives.
- Establish and ensure achievement of all unit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure adherence to standard work processes.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards and adherence to company policies.
- Facilitate employee performance management activities.
- Manage employee and labor relations matters in conjunction with Area Human Resources, as appropriate.
- Ensure systems and processes are in place to maintain smooth operations during employee absences and staffing changes.
- Foster culture that values diversity and promotes respect, inclusion, cooperation and responsibility.
