At the Motability Foundation we fund, support, research and innovate to help all disabled people make the journeys they choose. There are a few key ways we make this happen. We oversee the Motability Scheme and provide grants to help people use it, providing access to transport to hundreds of thousands of people a year. We award grants to charities and organisations who provide different types of transport, or work towards making transport accessible. We also carry out ongoing research, in partnership with disabled people and key stakeholders in the industry, to inspire innovations that continue to champion accessible transport for all. Motability (operating as Motability Foundation) is a Registered Charity in England and Wales number 299745 and a Registered Charity in Scotland number SC050642 and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, reference number 736309 as a credit broker.
Job Description
The Motability Foundation is seeking a Grants Administrator to provide operational support to grant applications related to supporting people with disabilities. The role involves administrative tasks, managing data, processing applications, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The company aims to fund, support, research, and innovate to help disabled people make their journeys and tackle key challenges in inclusive transport.
Requirements
- Prior experience in providing support to a busy team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly organised and with the ability to adapt to a variety of systems.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills including experience working with the MS Office suite including Excel.
- A desire to learn and develop skills.
