Job Description
MotherDuck is a rapidly growing data analysis user experience platform built on top of DuckDB, a foundation built on open source. They are seeking Backend Engineers to help scale their platform and improve the user experience for data analysts. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing distributed systems for query execution, storage, and access control.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems (Go, C++, or similar)
- Strong understanding of performance, latency, and fault tolerance in production environments
- Familiarity with API design, observability practices, and debugging
- Product-focused mindset and willingness to dive into unfamiliar areas
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly
