We are looking for a Software Development Manager to join our team at Motion Applied. The successful candidate will have a passion for technology and be able to use effective and applicable technologies to create robust and scalable software. They will be responsible for delivering complex products and solutions for our ATLAS suite and other related systems, and will work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet market needs and expectations.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related subject or equivalent technical or business-related subject.
- Deep understanding of aligning technology with business objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and ability to drive architectural and system design discussions and decisions.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully adopting an agile approach to project development or product improvement.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based microservices architecture, CI/CD practices, and observability.
- Track-record of end-to-end delivery at pace, excellent prioritisation skills and opts for a metrics delivery approach.
- Experience in a fast-paced, large functioning engineering team, with a knack for driving improvements to streamline development across multiple development teams.
- Demonstrable leadership, commercial awareness and with strong business acumen.
- Strong customer focus and be comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders at all levels.
