Job Description
Motional is seeking a Machine Learning Infrastructure Architect to lead the technical vision and architecture for systems powering autonomous vehicle development. This critical role involves designing scalable storage, curation, and access for petabyte-scale datasets and building performance-optimized infrastructure. The role requires a deep understanding of ML systems and data architecture, and expertise in distributed systems.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven experience leading the design of ML platforms
- Deep technical fluency in distributed storage, data pipelines, and Python/C++
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Python, and C++
- Experience in hybrid environments (bare metal, HPC, public cloud)
