Job Description
Motional is seeking a Senior Motion Planning Engineer to apply their robotics and software development expertise for autonomous vehicle production. The role involves researching and developing novel algorithms for motion planning, building robust software, and integrating complex algorithms. This position contributes to the team's drive to make autonomous driving safer, reliable, and accessible.
Requirements
- PhD preferred in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in robotics.
- 5+ years of research experience in robotics / motion planning.
- 3+ years of C++ software development experience.
- Experience owning and leading technical development in complex features.
