Job Description
Motional is a driverless technology company focused on autonomous driving vehicles. The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own large-scale mining workflows, improve ML product performance, and contribute to data processing pipelines. The role involves building high-quality datasets, participating in Data Mining efforts, and providing statistical depth on model performance. Requirements
- BS in computer science or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience architecting and shipping high-performance distributed systems
- Experience with core AWS services (S3, RDS, EMR, EKS, OpenSearch)
- Experience with SQL queries
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Athena, Redshift, BigQuery, Spark, Beam, Kafka, Hadoop
- Fluency in Python
- Solid software engineering principles
- Experience with A/B testing and ML in autonomous driving
- Solid understanding of autonomous driving sensors
