Engineering Manager, Machine Learning, Perception

Motive is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on machine learning and perception technology for their driver safety perception products. This role involves transforming AI research into robust production-ready features, driving the full product lifecycle from concept to deployment, and mentoring a high-performing team. The manager will be responsible for driving the development of ADAS-like features and setting new benchmarks for quality, reliability and performance in real-world conditions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning
• 2+ years of recent engineering management experience leading an AI/ML focused team of 6+ engineers
• Proven track record of successfully launching and operating Computer Vision or Machine Learning applications at scale
• Deep understanding of the process and challenges of building and maintaining large-scale ML products
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) or Autonomous Driving is a plus.
