Senior Software Engineer, Backend

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to join our asset monitoring team. You will design and implement scalable architecture, work with cross-functional teams, and build secure and maintainable code to provide real-time visibility into company assets. Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development experience, a degree in Computer Science or a related field, and experience with Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, or similar languages.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years software development experience
• An affinity for creating software that is extensible, performant, and easy to read
• Experience building product infrastructure, distributed systems and data models
• Experience in Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, or similar language
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Cassandra
• Experience building for Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure or private clouds
