Job Description
The Medical Assistant Team Lead is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical and organizational tasks, and providing oversight for less experienced Medical Assistants. This role focuses on direct patient care, utilizing MS Office Suite and maintaining accurate patient records. The position requires strong communication and mentorship skills within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Directing medical assistants with vital signs, phlebotomy, and chart management.
- Checking patient schedules and maintaining accurate charts.
- Assisting patients with examination, walking, and communication.
- Ensuring accurate insurance information and reconciling encounter forms.
- Maintaining exam/procedure rooms and instruments.
