Job Description
The Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the ICANH School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. This role involves contributing to research focused on the transcriptional regulation of hepatic glucose and lipid metabolism, particularly in the context of Type 2 Diabetes and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. The candidate will be part of a collaborative, friendly team and work with diverse projects, data management, and administrative tasks. The role emphasizes scientific collaboration and the advancement of research in metabolic diseases.
Requirements
- Plan and execute studies to assess mouse metabolic phenotypes and liver metabolism.
- Adapt and apply methods to study hepatocyte glucose and lipid metabolism in vitro and in vivo.
- Work with other team members to manage animal colony.
- Participate in internal and external meetings and conferences.
