Job Description
The Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences and the Center of Excellence for Thoracic Oncology at the Tisch Cancer Institute in Manhattan, New York are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to collaborate on a new pipeline involving cancer patient-derived organoid/immune cell culture models. The role focuses on using high-throughput functional immunoassays and single-cell proteogenomic profiling to study tumor signaling and immune responses. This position involves data analysis, collaboration, and publication of findings.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Computation Biology, Bioinformatics, Human Genetics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience analyzing large biological datasets.
- Proficiency in Python and R.
- Understanding of genomics/transcriptomics/proteomics.
- Fluency in high-performance computing environments (AWS/GCP).
- Effective communication skills.
- Active participation in a multidisciplinary collaborative environment.
