Job Description
The Virtual Reading Room Assistant is a key partnership with radiologists, responsible for managing communication, triaging referrals, building relationships, and troubleshooting issues in a virtual reading room. This role ensures efficient and effective patient care by increasing the quality of patient care and improving the patient experience.
Requirements
- Obtains patient history and documentation.
- Reviews reports and provides information to clinicians.
- Distributes critical radiology test results.
- Acts as liaison between radiologists, referring clinicians, technologists, and nursing staff.
- Participates in internal clinical programs and conferences.
- Assists in the proctoring program.
- Tracks SLAs and notifies radiologists.
