The financial aid counselor provides financial aid advising and counseling to undergraduate students and parents. They are responsible for reviewing FAFSA applications, awarding institutional and federal financial aid, and monitoring COD to ensure MPN's, entrance, and exit counseling requirements are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least two years of equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Title IV federal financial aid regulations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with financial aid software programs
- Ability to interact with the public and get along well with all types of people
