Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable ETL processes using Python and DataBricks. This role involves data extraction, transformation, and loading, as well as implementing data pipelines, automation, and testing. The ideal candidate will work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, especially DataBricks.
• Solid understanding of ETL principles.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integration techniques.
• Experience with code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
• Meticulous attention to detail and passion for problem solving.
• Fluent Hungarian/English language skills
• Good command of English
