The Senior Property Accountant is responsible for managing comprehensive property accounting functions, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, accounts receivable and payable, internal audits, and both cash and accrual accounting. This role collaborates with property managers, project managers, and lenders to ensure timely, accurate reporting, budgeting, and financial compliance for our commercial real estate portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of commercial real estate/property accounting experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal posting/review.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Yardi experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Previous management experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.
