Job Description
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing routine cycle counts, resolving inventory discrepancies, and supporting regulatory and quality compliance standards.
Requirements
- Cycle counts of inventory in all storage locations
- Inventory adjustments and reconciliation
- Monitoring minimum/maximum stock levels
- Creating monthly/quarterly financial adjustment reports
- Generating materials reports
- Participating in the Tiger Team
- Providing backup support to the indirect buyer
- Creating cycle counts and following up with stakeholders
- Supporting materials supervisor in understanding trends and areas of improvement
- Receiving inspection and generating savings through budget control or price savings from vendors
- Analyzing material consumption to organize stockrooms and DC for a more efficient workflow
- Performing physical inventory readiness and championing the organization of the annual physical inventory
